Excalibur Exchange Open Beta is about to go live!

The closed beta of Excalibur, which took place during the last month, has been a great success. A large number of professionals thoroughly tested the application, and while we have received extremely positive feedback from them, we’ve also been entirely satisfied by the stability and the global level of performance of our dapp.

We now feel that the time has come to take the next step, and are pleased to announce that the Excalibur Exchange beta version will be officially open to everyone from February 12th @ 8pm utc.

Why an open beta?

Through this open beta, our primary aim is to present the capabilities of Excalibur, and to give our early supporters a chance to get familiarized with its features and to share valuable feedback with us.

It is also the best opportunity for us to take advantage of an intensive use of the application to make the last balance adjustments, thus having all the guarantees to start on ideal bases as of the launching on the mainnet.

Finally, the bug bounty campaign will be the last stone brought to our project in terms of security, after having a rigorous multi-month audit by Paladin. It is also our way of proving our commitment to the safety of our project, by submitting its contracts directly to the developer community before its launch, in order to ensure that no flaws have been overlooked.

Alongside this bug bounty campaign, an Open Beta Challenge giveaway of $1500 will take place. More details will come very soon, so keep your eyes open!

How to participate?

The open beta will go live from February 12th to February 22nd on Fantom testnet. There won’t be any limitation, and whitelisting won’t be necessary to participate.

Our whole feature set will be available, hence every user will be able to learn how to get back swap fees through trans fee mining, farm some GRAIL to start earning dividends or take advantage of time vault staking. How to set up Fantom Testnet?

Metamask will be the only supported wallet during the open beta.

1. Visit http://metamask.io/ and click on “Download”. Choose your preferred browser to install the extension. Metamask supports iOS, Android apps along with Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Edge browser extensions.

2. By just connecting your wallet once on the app, you should be able to directly add Fantom testnet to Metamask.

Search for “Fantom testnet” and click on connect wallet.
